Exploring Depth of Field
|
1. depth of field is the opposite of blurry background because it focuses on what is sharp not what is blurry.
2. Three things that effect depth of field are the distance between your camera and your subject, the focal length of your lens, and the size of your aperture. 3.The more you zoom in on the guitar and the smaller aperture, the tighter field of view and less in focus the background is. 4.You can overdo a shallow depth of field which results in losing some parts of the subject's face you would like to keep in focus. 5. When you blur an object so much the shallow DOF can't see the object. |
